The biggest and best dune riding is in the middle of the southern section of the Oregon Dune National Rec Area – the area without OHV access. Access is by way of the John Dellenback Trail, which you can also access through the Eel Creek Campground. We’d suggest either tent camping at Eel Creek or get a yurt at Tugman State Park a mile up the road. Either way, you can access miles of fantastic dune and beach riding right from camp.
Highlights include dune riding, miles of beaches, and riding to beer and seafood at Unger’s Bay Fish-N-Chips in Winchester Bay.
